As humans we are all confronted with almost the same desires, temptations, and fears. Readers come to discover that tragedy and suffering is a fundamental aspect of existence which infuses our lives with value, meaning and creativity. In the end, we will all pass away and even the greatest books will wear out, but what will outlive everything is the spirit of great poetry. It is eternal.
