  • steps for the whole-class process, in which students learn basic research skills;
  • steps for the independent process, in which students apply skills in individual and small-group studies;
  • reproducible pages for designing and implementing units;
  • sample research studies using the independent process;
  • reproducible assessment forms and student handouts;
  • teacher resource pages; and
  • online access to editable teacher, student, and assessment forms.
