Notă biografică
Sebastian Saviano is a writer and independent scholar whose work examines how power operates through systems, institutions, and the language they produce-and what happens when the structures that govern public life lose the trust of those they serve. He is the author of The Allegiance Paradox and Legitimate Distrust, the first two volumes of The Collapse of Trust series, a four-volume investigation into the erosion of civic allegiance, institutional credibility, and democratic accountability. His work on artificial intelligence includes the papers Handoff Zones as the Unit of Analysis for AI Accountability and The Agency Error in AI Governance: Coherent Output, Constraint, and the Misclassification of Artificial Systems, which examine how responsibility is obscured when artificial systems are mistaken for agents. He pursued doctoral studies at Georgetown University in political theory and the philosophy of social science, where he also lectured in the Science, Technology and International Affairs program. I, System extends his ongoing inquiry into how systems-political, institutional, and artificial-shape the conditions under which humans make decisions, assign responsibility, and understand the world.
