In ancient Sanskrit, So Hum is a mantra, a special breathing whisper, that means "I am that." It reminds us that we are connected to the peaceful world around us...and it sounds just like a cat's purr!
How to find your inner purr:
Sit comfortably, like a relaxed little cat.
Breathe in deeply through your nose and silently think: So.
Breathe out gently and feel the soft vibration of: Hum.
Repeat three times and feel your inner calm. You can practice being present just like a cat!
