TOI POWELL is the author of the Blood of a Queen trilogy. She published her first novel Blood of a Queen: Book 1 in 2016 and A King's Ransom the second book in the series in 2020. With a background in design, project management and music, Toi led the launch of her books by creating the ultimate reader experience. She designed her book covers and allowed readers to vote for their favorites, wrote and recorded music, Blood of a Queen, which can be found on major streaming platforms and performed her music at her book launch event sponsored by Fiverr. Toi Powell is also a singer/songwriter, and content creator and has creative digital expertise. She uses these skills to create an unforgettable experience for her readers by providing quality digital content in combination with her books. For book 1, she implemented 3D augmentation technology onto the book cover and promotional materials at the onset of it's introduction into the tech industry. She encouraged readers to scan the book cover using an app to reveal digital elements which included social media links, websites, the music video for BOAQ and a vlog following her experience as a first-time author. Toi Powell loves meeting her readers and has appeared at locations such as Barnes & Noble, BookCon in New York City and Circle of Sisters in New York City as well.
