Pip, now head of Pandara's army, and soon to be a father, finds himself longing for the excitement of the Battlefield. His responsibilities, how- ever, confine him to the capital, until an emissary from Princess Miko, ruler of the lands to the south of Barbaria, comes to Pandara seeking help to fight demons that plague her kingdom. Pip soon finds, though, that there are things more frightening than demons. This is the third book in the From the Chronicle of Pip of Pandara series.
