Heidi's Trail is about a little girl who lives in the South and is lucky enough to live next door to her grandparents. Her papa is always taking her on wild adventures that he calls life survival lessons. Heidi's grandmother calls his lessons a one-way ticket to reform school. Papa's lessons are all in good fun, and Heidi does learn a lot from him. She would learn that the most important lesson in life is your family.
