Impoverished magazine writer Freddie Dubois gets the assignment of a lifetime writing about NHL star Damon Erickson. She isn't prepared for the effect the gorgeous hockey player has on her, but Freddie is unlike any woman Damon has ever met and he's fascinated by her. When passion erupts between them, suddenly Freddie is less concerned about her independence and more worried about how she can reconcile her lifestyle with Damon's, since he seems to live in another world. By the time she realizes Damon is all that matters and she's been driving him away, it may be too late.
