Grammar for the Average Joe

DeShéa Rushing holds a BA in English language and composition, an MA in English composition, and an MFA in creative and professional writing. With over thirty-six years in higher education, she taught everyone from college freshmen to graduate students. She noticed two issues that remained consistent: writers at every level were making similar grammar mistakes, and they were often confused and frustrated with traditional handbooks. They needed and wanted a resource written in language they could actually understand. With their needs as her guide, DeShéa created the book that finally makes grammar accessible to the rest of us.
