I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more about the structure and function of global affairs and politics.
I wish I had been able to utilize this book throughout my entire college career. It reinforces self-discipline and research skills in a whole new way. I now feel that I have an excellent understanding of the issues facing our world, which I apply to my work in local government.
Each chapter gives a great description and analysis of global political issues and takes it a step further by introducing the reader to unique learning techniques.
This textbook on international relations is written unlike any other that I have read during my college career. It allows the reader to cultivate the skill of taking ownership of their own learning by walking them through the steps of learner-centered teaching and learning.
I love this approach to learning. It keeps me so engaged and accountable for my own learning and its applications. It's difficult for me to remain focused when a lot of details are involved but the book provides checklists that support me - I didn't know how much I needed that as a philosophy major. Thank you for writing such an amazing book!
