This book contains graphs showing data on the biophysics of ice skating, including joint angles/positions, electrical activity of the heart (EKG) and muscles (EMG), breathing rate, lung volume, blood pressure, and pulse associated with ice skating during common footwork, spins, and jumps. Exercises are demonstrated and analyzed on land and synthetic ice. These biophysics data are samples from one individual and are not representative of the population. Data can be used for lesson plans by teachers and parents.
