In this seven year anthology of prose and poetry written between 2009-2016, our narrator, Damien Burden (author of "CYST"), carries us through the adverse reality of growing up in a post 9/11 America driven by capitalism and systemic oppression. Burden, who began writing at the age of thirteen while sentenced to a high security prison for juveniles, takes us through his deeply philosophical ethos of adolescence and early adulthood.
