Game Girl: banboo associates

Clifford Mailou spent his early adult life working on an old chemical plant - a place he describes technologically as the factory that time forgot. More mechanical than digital, this experience fuelled his fascination with restoring old British motorcycles, the source, he believes, of his literary inspiration. His writing often involves a blending of science fiction with science fantasy, stretching the eminently plausible to its limits. A member of the Part-time Poets, he has travelled extensively over the years, a fact that can often be identified in his creations. He is the author of the novels, 'Game Girl' and 'Of Toys and Portals'. Deadlines, schedules and planning do not figure large in his art; 'disorder is the mother of all great works', being an oft referenced quote of his.
