ULRICH PARDEY is Professor of Philosophy at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany, and one time Visiting Professor at the University of California, Irvine, USA. He is the author of Identität, Existenz und Reflexivität. Sprachanalytische Untersuchungen zur deskriptiven Metaphysik, (Identity, Existence and Reflexivity.
