Join Sandy the sparrow on an unforgettable journey, in the heart-warming first graphic novel from million-copy bestselling author David Baddiel, with illustrations by Luke Horsman.
Every year, Sandy watches the majestic swans and geese fly south, while he and the other sparrows are left behind. But this time, Sandy is determined to do what no sparrow has ever done before, and make the epic journey to a winter in the sun.
Teaming up with his friends, they set off on a daring adventure across the world. But it's not all plain flying, as they encounter dangerous winds, an unplanned detour to icy Antarctica and even sabotage. Will they have to give up and fly home, or will Sandy finally make it to sunny paradise?
