Notă biografică
Sudip Bhattacharjee is a technical specialist in automotive vehicle crashworthiness, with complementary experiences as a former university faculty member, civil structural engineer, and academic researcher. His expertise spans finite element software development as well as the application of commercial CAE tools to civil, structural, and automotive engineering. For more than 30 years, Dr. Bhattacharjee has taught finite element analysis to engineering students and practicing engineers through university courses and industry training seminars.

The Second Edition combines theory of elasticity and finite element methods. It is derived from the author’s teaching, research, and applied work in automotive product development and civil structural analysis. It details LS-DYNA software for simulating practice problems. A new chapter on “Iso-Geometric Analysis of Structures” is added.
