In this lucidly written work, Eilers proves himself to be one of the most able interpreters of Pannenberg to come along for some time . This book deserves a wide reading for all those interested in Pannenberg or contemporary eschatology.

Unlike many other studies of Pannenberg's theology, which focus on philosophical, hermeneutical, methodological or inter-disciplinary themes, this book puts under the microscope his theology of reconciliation.
