This book touches many of the changes we are currently facing or will face in the near future. Change is coming at a rapid pace and we as Technical/Community College leaders must embrace these changes and lead the way.
Facing an Exponential Future: Technology and the Community College," captivates the reader's mind and emotion with what seems an overwhelming plethora of change factors already shaping our world as we know it. Our individual challenge will be keeping up with the breadth and depth of such exponential change!
Our nation was built on a blue collar, technical workforce, and our ability to refocus the education system to integrate and train a workforce for emerging technologies is critical for future growth of the economy! This book chronicles many of the current challenges.
It was an interesting read and certainly makes one step back and think how things have changed and the acceleration for the present and future.
