Evil, Actually

Autor Veronika Dapunt
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 15 iun 2027

From the author of Death and Other Occupational Hazards comes a darkly humorous novel with a splash of mystery, perfect for fans of KAOS, about a woman who discovers she's Pandora reborn, and now - not only has to deal with a bad breakup and the boss from hell - but has to stop the end of the world.

Chloe thought her problems couldn't get any bigger. With a bad break-up, a new boss who spends more on spiritual cleansing than salaries, and the fact that the most reliable presence in her life is a rescue goldfish, Chloe is at rock bottom.

But when her commute goes violently off-script - mainly for the person who tries to mug her - Chloe realizes there are much bigger things to worry about. In particular, the fact that she's actually Pandora, and she's developing dark, uncontrollable powers she definitely doesn't want.

To make matters worse, turns out the six Great Evils are real and they're not exactly... evil? They're bickering, unpredictable, occasionally helpful, and far too involved in her life. But, when they start vanishing, it becomes clear something far more dangerous is at play. And for reasons Chloe doesn't fully understand (and would very much like to ignore), she might be the only one who can stop it.
