Every Child, Every Future: Visionary Leadership for Disadvantaged Learners in Your Primary School

Autor Louise Lawton, Rebecca Tarplett
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 7 oct 2026
Children cannot be what they cannot see so it’s important that we, as educators and school communities, are children's eyes to the opportunities that are available to them. This practical book guides you in how you can reduce barriers in the classroom so all children can thrive and not just survive.
Chapters provide a springboard to view your curriculum through different lenses, identifying key issues facing disadvantaged children and assessing how pupils are catered for within school life. With a focus on belonging, relationships, curriculum design and community the book explores evidence-based research and helps you to re-evaluate your curriculum to allow all children to succeed. Each topic is steered by key questions to encourage you to think reflectively about your own practice.
With case studies included to transfer guidance and ideas to your own setting, this book is valuable reading for primary and secondary educators, SENCOs and students keen to inspire and equip all children with the skills needed for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
