JENS STEFFEK is Lecturer in Political Science at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany. He has published widely on international organizations, global governance and transnational civil society.

KRISTINA HAHN is Research Associate at the Collaborative Research Centre 'Transformations of the State' at the University of Bremen, Germany.
