La batalla de los Arapiles is the tenth and final novel of the first series of Episodios Nacionales by Benito P rez Gald s. In it, the influential victory of the allied troops against the French is recounted. Gabriel once again fights for his nation and in the course of the story encounters an adventurous young English woman. This battle marked the beginning of the end for the French, and also brings Gabriel and his beloved Agnes closer to a happy ending.
