Then I heard God respond back to me in a soft and reassuring voice, "Step out and prove me." I thought to myself, "My dream. That was the word I heard in my dream. Could it be that this is such the time?" I felt encouraged that God reminded me of the word in my dream from several months prior.

I am a career accountant, certified in management accounting, treasury management and financial management. I have over 11 years of experience in finance. My life was locked inside of me, until I encountered a man named Philemon Samuels, through whom I found my passion. My passion is not in my career. In a space of one year, the Lord showed me that my true passion was serving my country, Liberia. I came alive when I poured out my heart towards Philemon Samuels. There is nothing adequate to describe the moment when we embraced at the airport in College Station, Texas. As I held him, I wept not just for him, but for my country, in hopes that someday we will put our destructive and bitter past of civil wars and death behind us; embracing the future filled with hope, love, and care for our brothers and sisters.
