Notă biografică
Jacob Copeman is Oportunius Research Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He is Principal Investigator of the ERC-funded project Religion and Its Others in South Asia and the World. His research spans religion, secularism, material culture, and political anthropology in India. He is the author or co-author of two monographs, including Hematologies: The Political Life of Blood in India, and co-editor of nine volumes, such as The Guru in South Asia and An Anthropology of Intellectual Exchange. His collaborative work includes one of the earliest studies on atheism and media in South Asia, Global Sceptical Publics.
