A chapter on how to distinguish transparent and black diamond imitations from real natural diamonds has been added. Notable additions are colour images of diamond spectra, a chapter on detecting transparent and black diamond imitations, and updated photos in the chapters on fancy colour diamonds and antique diamond jewellery.
