Dexter Doubletree is no tough guy, he's just a guy, but he's a Detective, a gumshoe, and a good one, who only takes a case he intends to solve. Scotland holds the answers and Doubletree needs the cash. With the backdrop of Edinburgh's downtown our Detective discovers a web of clues that leads him to the mysterious Book of Wonders. The bump on his noggin means somebody is watching him, somebody who wants that book as much as he does.
