Author Susie Reynolds grew up in the West Midlands of England and attended college in Liverpool. She is a drama teacher and also edits and writes for a magazine. She now lives in Brittany, France, and frequently visits Paris and its churches, where much of this book was set. Reynolds is currently working on her second novel.
