Christian Robinson is an illustrator, author, animator, and designer based in Oakland, California. He is a Caldecott Honoree whose solo projects include the Indie bestseller, Dad and the companion book, Mom; Another, a New York Times Best Illustrated Book; and You Matter, a New York Times bestseller . He is the illustrator of #1 New York Times bestsellers Last Stop on Market Street (by Matt de la Peña) and Something, Someday (by Amanda Gorman), as well as School's First Day of School (by Adam Rex) and When's My Birthday? (by Julie Fogliano). He has won three Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honors, including one for Nina: A Story of Nina Simone (by Traci Todd).
