Theodore Trefonis a senior researcher at the Belgian Royal Museum for Central Africa and a  lecturer in environmental governance at ERAIFT/University of Kinshasa. He has published a number of articles and books in French and English, includingCongo MasqueradeandReinventing Order in the Congo.
