This book objectives is to outline the idea of network intruder discovery in Intrusion detection system (IDS). It presents a solution to the problem challenges of data dimension and detection of network intrusions. The solution described in book can be summarized into two direction: (1) Proposing four hybrid anomaly Network intrusion detection models, and (2) Proposing a new feature selection approach "Bi-Layer behavioral-based feature selection approach."
