When Evan Williams, an eighteen year old girl from a small town in Mississippi is unexpectedly accepted to Yale, she meets a student by the name of Layland Justice who holds a secret of his own and lets her in on a two thousand year old prophecy that forces Evan to make the ultimate decisions between good versus evil and loving him or doing the right thing.
