Notă biografică
Lorenzo Rossano is an electronics engineer and business manager, in Milan, Italy. Throughout his professional career, he has contributed to the field of hospital instrumentation. He currently collaborates with the University of Palermo, as a Professor of Electronic Bioengineering, and also with the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University in New York, where he has developed innovative mathematical models for the control of industrial and sanitary processes. He has directed corporate laboratories for biomedical technologies in Italy and the United States. He was also Director General of the Lombardy Region of Italy tasked with supervising the application and optimization of medical technologies within public and accredited hospitals throughout the territory.

It explores X-ray physics, digital imaging, PACS/RIS systems, and radiation protection through mathematical models and clinical examples.
