Recenzii
'Brings many familiar stories alive in an enchanting way.' -- Scientific and Medical Network Review 'The reappearance of these wonderful stories will delight all who enjoy telling or reading stories at Christmastide. As a teacher, when I told my classes of primary school children the stories In Nazareth and In The Temple they proved very popular and inspired excellent artwork! These stories are a wonderful antidote to the materialism and sentimentality which so often mar the celebration of Christmas.' -- Peter Heathfield, New View, Winter 2002/3
Notă biografică
Selma Lagerlof (1858-1940) was born in Varmland, Sweden. She was the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature. As a child, she spent hours listening to stories told by her grandmother. Following an inspirational visit to the Holy Land, in 1904 she published Christ Legends, her most well-known book, which has been loved by generations of children.
