Matthew Hayes is the President and CEO of The Museum of Flight (MOF) in Seattle, WA, the largest non-governmental air and space museum in the world, where he has worked since 2006. Previously, Hayes worked at Deloitte & Touche, an international professional services firm, and volunteered as a restoration crew member for an MOF artifact, the B-17 Flying Fortress. After nearly ten years with Deloitte, he turned his efforts toward the educational and non-profit worlds as an executive at an education foundation working with public schools. His background in both formal and informal education, the corporate world, and almost every level and area within MOF makes him suited to provide a full spectrum of examples of museum impact and operations.
