Recenzii

“We already know why peer support is vital; the difficult question has always been how to operationalize it. Dr. Conn answers that question in Building Effective Peer Support Teams. This book is an essential tool that moves beyond theory, providing a practical framework for taking a team from a mere concept to a fully realized, resilient unit.”
Cathy Bustos, MS, LPC, CCISM, and Javier Bustos, CCISM, owners of That Peer Support Couple, LLC
“Peer support is one of the most trusted resources first responders utilize and, when done right, it can be one of the most beneficial. In Building Effective Peer Support Teams, Dr. Conn guides the reader through the dos and don'ts in a way that is practical, easy to follow, and easy to duplicate. This is a must read for all peer teams, peer supporters, and those who aspire to develop a program.”
Jeff Spivey, chief of police (retired), past chair of the officer safety and organizational wellness section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police
Building Effective Peer Support Teams is a comprehensive account of the most significant components of first responder peer support.
