This is a story of a young man that has a dream, while in high school. In that dream he enlists in the U.S. Air Force, and ultimately is assigned to the southern island (Kyushu) in Japan. As it turns out that's exactly what happened. While in Japan he stumbles into a whole new world and way of thinking when he is introduced to the town psychic. The metaphysical world is thrust upon him and he's not sure how to react to it. Through his countless meetings with the psychic she reveals who he really was in the past. More importantly she shows him what he will become. He also meets a young woman that proves to have an impact on his life. She has a secret about her life that she refuses to disclose, which causes him some discomfort. However, in time that secret makes itself known and all hell breaks loose
