Breaking Confidentiality: Soulprint Media LLC

John Kim is a licensed therapist, speaker, and author of nine books, including the bestsellers I Used To Be A Miserable F*ck and Single. On Purpose. He has been featured in the New York Post, NPR, Armchair Expert, and Vice, and had books optioned for television shows. John changed the temperature of therapy twelve years ago after going through a divorce, when he started blogging about his own struggles and riding up to therapy sessions on a motorcycle to do walk-and-talks around Silver Lake or conversations at coffee shops. Since then, he has done thousands of sessions to change people's lives and helped hundreds of thousands on social media where he is known as The Angry Therapist. He is currently rebuilding his life in Costa Rica after losing his family's home in the Altadena fires. He rides a golf cart now instead of a motorcycle but still writes daily, runs retreats, and seeks nectar. Breaking Confidentiality is John's first book published through Soulprint Media, a publisher and content studio John cofounded that supports authors, creates community, and colors outside the lines in order to tell human stories on and off the page.
