Bold
Autor Barrie Zucalen Limba Engleză Hardback – 14 oct 2026
"Reading this book is like talking to the best coach and therapist ever." Tara Jenkins, Founder and CEO, Conscious Revolution
Barrie Zucal wasn't always bold. Like most women worldwide, she was raised to be good, to contort herself to meet societal expectations, and to never offend. As a young teacher, she had become cute, likable, overextended, bored, and anxious. A traffic accident while she was driving drunk put her on the path to self-discovery, empathy, and adventure.
Whether you're leading a team, raising a family, building a business, or reinventing your life, BOLD will inspire you to stop being "too good for your own good" and to live the life that is uniquely yours. Barrie encourages women to trust their inner wisdom, set boundaries, take meaningful risks, honor their ambitions, and lead with enthusiasm and courage rather than seek approval.
Part memoir, part manifesto, and part practical guide, BOLD helps women worldwide answer three life-changing questions:
- For whom do I exist?
- Why do I exist?
- How will I exist?
Barrie has been married to the same man for fifty years, and together they raised a marvelous daughter.

Notă biografică
Barrie Zucal, MS, is a feminist writer, speaker, activist, and powerlifter. She was a global entrepreneur and a marriage and family therapist, specializing in women's growth and development. While working in seventy-five countries, she observed that women leaders everywhere faced the same challenges in patriarchal cultures. She wrote this book to free women to embody their power and live and lead with trust in their judgment.
