When Charlie Higgins returns home unexpectedly from a secret mission in Afghanistan he finds a strange car parked in his driveway. Upon entering the house he finds his wife in bed with another man. Not content with killing his wife, he exacts revenge on her lover by framing him for her murder. A few days later Charlie carries out a hit on a Russian mobster. Consequently he finds himself embroiled in a Russian Mafia plot that leads all the way to The Whitehouse. What follows is a race across two continents, several attempts on Charlie's life, and while Charlie tries to work out who his friends are, he also has his own agenda regarding an old adversary.
