The Author of this book, is a forty five year old single mom of three, a self-proclaimed foodie and wanna be writer. Wendy has been talking about her adventures for years, and has been promising those close to her to write a book and share. It is now here for your enjoyment. By writing this book, Wendy hopes to show you, the reader, that this particular adventure or "Journey of Me" was worth every minute, every tear and definately every laugh and smile! Simply put Wendy's first priority is being a mom - "Being a Mom is the single most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life." So being able to experience this adventure with her youngest son has been more than rewarding. Hiking the John Muir Trail was more rewarding than anything else! This past year she made changes and completed long time goals all with the hopes of not only changing herself for the better but with the hopes of making her family stronger too! Read the book...
