Becoming is Messy

Autor Meghann Dawson
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 15 dec 2026
Meghann Dawson did everything she thought she was supposed to do. She built the life, checked the boxes, and became who the world seemed to reward, while quietly carrying the weight of a childhood shaped by chaos, silence, and survival.
But beneath the surface, something never quite settled.
The turning point arrived in a quiet moment, holding her newborn daughter and hearing a simple, undeniable truth rise to the surface: Do better.
What followed was a messy, nonlinear journey through love that didn't last, patterns that did, and the courageous work of unlearning who she had been taught to be. Through relationships, motherhood, betrayal, therapy, friendship, and moments of awakening, Becoming Is Messy traces what it means to stop performing a life that looks good and start building one that feels true.
At a time when so much of the world feels disconnected and performative, Becoming Is Messy reminds us that wholeness is not something we find outside of ourselves. It is something we reclaim, one honest moment at a time.
And that is where everything begins.
