Notă biografică

Pola Oloixarac was born in September 1977 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied Philosophy at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and is the author of the novels Savage Theories, Dark Constellations, and Mona. She's the recipient of the 2021 Eccles Centre and Hay Festival Award. In 2010, she was named one of Best of Young Spanish Novelists, received the Fondo Nacional de Letras Literary Award, and participated in the Iowa International Writers Program. Pola is the author of the opera "Hercules in Mato Grosso," commissioned by the CETC at Teatro Colon, which was staged there in 2013 and in New York City in co-production with The Americas Society. Pola has lived in San Francisco, CA, Bariloche (Argentina), Buenos Aires, and currently lives in Barcelona.
