Victor Tanasa a dat nota:

My first Egan was Diaspora, a novel which proved to be too much for me at the time - more research paper than actual story, but it seems that in short story format the author shines. I was really impressed at how consistent Axiomatic is - 18 stories, and none of them filler. With the exception of the first, "The Infinite Assassin", I enjoyed all of them immensely, the absolute favorites being "The Safe-Deposit Box", "A Kidnapping" and "The Hundred Light Year Diary". The stories themselves have a very "Black Mirror" feel and I could totally imagine each as an episode of that series. What's really amazing is that most of them were written before '92 and they're not dated at all - on the contrary, they're hugely imaginative and though provoking. Excellent.
