Apple Thieves
Autor Beverley Bie Brahicen Limba Engleză Paperback – 31 oct 2024
Apple Thieves offers glimpses of ordinary people and places, remembered or caught in the moment. Beverley Bie Brahic explores themes of memory and migration, asking, 'Why this moment, not another one?' Her poems capture the sensuousness of the earthbound, from the 'pissed-on cornerstones of history' in Paris to the landscapes of Provence.
This collection reflects on human fragility while relishing the beauty of the everyday. Readers who enjoy contemporary poetry with a focus on personal experience, nature, and family will find much to appreciate in Apple Thieves.
