Volume IV starts one week after the last one ends. It chronicles Mary and her friends' lives from the time they're sophomores until the day they graduate college (or 'from' college, take your pick). It follows their growth from playful girls into young women; especially Mary, whose adventures and slowly developing maturation never fail to confuse, confound, amuse and amaze.
