With a page to each story, intended to be read along with huge full colour fun illustrations, the up beat stories cover all types of modern (and post-modern) families and the ways in which our glorious LGBT community has given itself wholeheartedly to raising healthy, well-adjusted and diverse families. Recommended for younger readers and for anyone with children.
All You Need is Love is a resource that has been welcomed by primary school PSHE co-ordinators in Brighton & Hove as it offers enrichment to the current work they do on developing children's understanding of the range of families we are all part of. The rich diversity of families covered by this book and the engaging way they are described make it a 'must have' resource for Primary PSHE.
This lovely book helps show that families like ours, are normal too. My husband has Huntingtons Disease, and it's part of our family life.
All You Need is Love is a gentle reminder that we are all special in our own way. Through celebrating our beautiful differences, we find compassion. And through loving with an open heart, we can make the world a better place for generations to come. I love this book very much indeed.
All You Need is Love offers a warm and light-hearted approach to looking at different families and circumstances. The material is sensitively handled in a straightforward way, and complimented by delightful illustrations and poems.
