“I found AI for Creatives: Unlocking Expressive Digital Potential to be a compelling guide for creative professionals. Having been involved in digital technology since its early days in the 1990s and working across media and creative industries for over 30 years, I appreciated the book’s practical approach to integrating AI into creative workflows. The authors offer clear, actionable advice on using tools like MidJourney and ChatGPT, supported by case studies that demonstrate how AI can enhance fields like design, film, and writing—areas I’ve engaged with throughout my career. I particularly valued the book’s exploration of ethical challenges, such as intellectual property and algorithmic bias. The book strikes a thoughtful balance between AI and human creativity. I enjoy the book very much!”

“This book offers a clear and approachable introduction to artificial intelligence, breaking down its concepts in a way that feels accessible even to those new to the topic. I particularly appreciated how the authors highlighted the different roles AI can play in creativity, making it easier to understand the vast potential of these tools. The practical examples—complete with step-by-step guidance and prompt keywords—are incredibly helpful, especially for those looking to explore AI in the context of art and content creation. The book addresses copyright, regulation and ethical concerns well, but I would have liked to see more about integrating AI into education. Overall, this is a timely and engaging resource that successfully demystifies AI and invites readers to experiment, reflect, and imagine new ways of working with this technology. I highly recommend it to anyone curious about how to start with AI.”

"This is a great book to advocate for the potential for creatives to incorporate AI into their work, making a strong case for education in this field. As the world moves forward into an era of AI that some people see as a threat, this book makes the positive case for how AI can help to enhance creativity."
