Recenzii
'This book is GREAT! Our world has been dislocated by the current crisis. This book throws us a life-line. It is readable and entertaining, but also serious, strategic and thoughtful - a significant attempt to re-think development on a global scale. I hope it sells a million copies.' - Simon Maxwell CBE, Director, Overseas Development Institute, London
'This is a book which does what it sets out to do - to look at key issues in international development, to explain the context and to propose some pathways ahead as we enter a more complex, global society. One to add to the collection.' - Professor Myles Wickstead, Open University and former Head of Secretariat, Commission for Africa
'Sumner and Tiwari pose important questions. Read what they have to say as a guide to important debates on some enduring issues.' - Richard Manning, former chair Development Assistance Committee, OECD
'This book is an insightful and invaluable roadmap to the world of development policy.' - Dr Claire Melamed, Head of Policy, Action Aid
'This book widens our discussion with a fresh perspective. It enhances our understanding of the dynamics of development in the context of critical global changes.' - Dr Shankar P Sharma, Former Vice Chairman, National Planning Commission, Government of Nepal
'A very interesting book addressing the crucial questions, not only for researchers or policy makers but for everyone.' - Dr Tran Tuan, Director, Research and Training Centre for Community Development, Vietnam
