Dorea grew up in a large Southern family with all its rewards and demands. Her family dealt with divorce, suicide and a major natural disaster. Dorea and her husband started their family with adoption. Years later and five children she was blessed with a miracle pregnancy. Dorea endured the deaths of her husband and of their twelve-year-old son, following his two-year struggle with cancer. Through it all, Dorea depended upon her faith to carry her through life's trials.
