A Wolf at the Door: mystery meets escapism in a twisty investigation set in rural France: The Dordogne Mysteries
Autor Martin Walkeren Limba Engleză Hardback – 17 iun 2027
Bruno is tracking a wolf pack after some farm animals are attacked and killed, and a wolf is found to have rabies. The wolf activity reveals human bones, still clad in half-rotted jeans. The discovery could affect plans by British incomer, Toby, who wants to create a Garden of Extraordinary Plants close to where the remains have been unearthed.
Forensics date the bones to the late 1960s - a time of political turmoil in France. Tracing missing persons from sixty years ago is not seen as priority by Bruno's superiors - and even if murder is confirmed, the killer is unlikely still to be alive.
But Bruno has a hunch and he doesn't give up easily.
